Lovely tutor Racheal has fixed my file errors, I recorded my digital drawings to FLV format, which is a 20 year old type of file that is dead and I couldn't edit it on Adobe Premiere. Until Now.

Just put in the recording on to Adobe Premiere....

I'm missing footage..... Okay, will look onto other computer cause I might put them in the D drive. Also will look into more free copyright music. One of the songs I picked doesn't like Adobe Premiere.

Will be getting dimensions for the little room later today, to see where to put things and how I can fit things.

Today is Thursday 22nd of October 2020

So cause I'm on the computer that doesn't have the photoshop work of the drawing I am working on I am editing the recoding so far. I tried putting recording into premiere pro but the videos are capable as they are FLV files, and apparently need MP4 files. So the waiting game is now, until finish download and IT person comes and fix the downloading error.

Printmaking - Update

Okay I'm a little behind in blogging for printmaking but I'll do a quick update here.

Screen Printing:

So I have cut out all the screen print stencils, I'll show the stencils below and them the finished product will be shown. I'll be hopefully can print them this week.

I would like to add an extra print for one of the tops as this print will be on the back, was thinking a chicken drum for little comic joke.

Etching:

I have the design done and completed etching into the plastic and last week (15.10.20) I printed it on paper. This design is based on the DM (Dungeon Master, "god" of the world) designed when I ask for a symbol to represent them.

Wood Block Print:

I have complete the design of the wood block print but haven't craved it yet. I would like the crave out the inner parts of the design and crave the outside of design be like a square, so the print is even went putting through the roller but keep the design clean and bold.

Lino Print:

I have complete the design of the Lino print but haven't craved it yet. The dark areas I wouldn't crave out, to make the print come out like this.

This design, includes the mat where we (the players and DM) use to figure/strategy an encounter, and as the big guy that we encounter is a dragon I made that the outline of the print.

Mix Prints:

For a final I am planning to combine the prints together, either with or without the photos, reason is that I have experience with printmaking in the past and I would like to show that with this paper. Hopefully to boast my grade as I am lacking in the Blogging apartment. That will be my homework in between paper this weekend.

On top of that I still like the add the artist model in the presentation even through the presentation I present had a different theme, Tania Beaumont.

Digital - Redo doing previous parts of the paper - Still Life

Today is Tuesday the 13th of October, only have 3 weeks until finish of course!

As I have restarted my theme from my Digital painting paper I have to restart the previous parts of the paper, including Still life and Creatures. Before the second change of mind, I was previously going to do this theme of D&D, so I had an artist in mind of artist models. 

JoCat, he is an artist that does his work around D&D theme as will so I thought he would be a good artist model to start with. His line work with basic colour and simple colour backgrounds would be great as I only have 3 weeks to complete this paper.

So for still life, I thought about the characters play with and my character, if they picked one item what would it be. It was a little difficult for some as I don't know exactly what they would pick or the player themselves like to change their mind of their character.

Professional Practices - Media Research

So I have been giving the responsibility of researching the media aspect, I had a chat with on the reporters at the Southland Express, Janette Gellatly, and she said she will do a free cover press (ie a story) of the exhibition for the newspaper. She instructed that we would be interviewed on the week of 2nd-6th of November and the story would be published on 12th of November paper, week before the exhibition so people would remember for the next week. The only thing we need to get sorted until then is finalized the reason of exhibition, what we would be exhibiting and who would like to be in the photo with what (ie a piece of their artwork).

Other than Newspaper, I do believe that we should do internet advertising, ie Facebook event, wither or not it is paid for extra things. So we can share the event around with friends and family and then they share it on. On top of that we can then share it to What's On Invers.

I also believe that we should get the posters sorted by 28th of October so we can pop them around Invercargill and even near Invercargill settlements/towns like Riverton, Gore, Winton and maybe Bluff. So we should then take them around places asking supermarkets, high schools, restaurants/cafes, libraries, art/local stores and any art galleries. With this task I believe to split into groups and go door knocking to these places so we can cover more ground, but before that I would make a list of places so people can check them off.
